Worshiping God together through music is a really important part of our life and fellowship at St Faith’s, and there’s something for everyone to be a part of. We’re all different, so we use a broad range of musical styles in our services, from traditional congregational hymns accompanied on the organ, to more modern band-led worship songs and choruses. We also have a flourishing choir, to which we’re always happy to welcome new members – enthusiasm is the main criteria, if you want to join! Music is a key part of our seasonal celebrations in the church calendar too. Our traditional Christmas carol service is always a highlight, and the choir have a great time preparing for and singing in that, as well as choral meditations, helping to create a ‘sacred space’ for people to pray and reflect, throughout the church year.
St Augustine said, when we sing, we pray twice. If you love to sing, in a choir or congregation, or play an instrument, and have a passion to worship God and help others to do so – whatever your style – we’d love you to join us.
